GinormaSource.com/religion is soon to be offering written transcriptions of Greg Boyd's sermons. They will be launching the first couple next week and will be keeping them coming as frequently as possible.
Greg Boyd's sermons are available online to view or download at no charge and for those who love to study his work, they will be excited to hear that they can read along, or go over some of the finer points otherwise possibly missed when only listening to a sermon.
Obviously there are challenges with transcriptions. The accurate may not be 100%. There is a factor or margin of error that must always be considered. There is also the possibility for typos or other general errors. Naturally it is hard to pick up on inflection and tone of voice when reading a transcription of any audio, but especially a speaker who speaks fast like Greg. Other subtleties like sarcasm, humor and wit can be misinterpreted completely and taken in the exact opposite manor that was spoken. Please use your best judgement when read a transcript and understand the nuances of transcribing.
Thank you GinormaSource.com/religion we're looking forward to reading Greg's sermons soon!
Greg Boyd is the speaking pastor at Woodland Hills Church in St Paul, MN and is you can read more about Greg and his church at whchurch.org

To celebrate Charlie Chaplin's 122nd birthday, on April 15, 2011 Google replaced their traditional standard logo with the youtube video featuring a modern rendition and interpretation of Charlie Chaplan interacting with the Google logo. Poor Charlie Chaplan finds himself once again as a poor person who doesn’t have money to buy food, so he has to get creative.
Charlie Chaplan was a great actor and left us with many classic movies, that many kids have never even heard of. Well, naturally the silent movies have a hard time competing with 3D, surround sound and Technicolor.

Greg Boyd is a fascinating person. Listening to Greg speak is a simply wonderful experience – his manor is both passionate and intellectual. Often listening to speakers and preachers is a boring and dull experience, but not Greg. You have to be thinking to actively listen to Pastor Greg. You can see his weekly talks at the website www.whchurch.org or online at the Woodland Hills Church social site, called “The Bridge”. At www.whchurch.org you can also get service times, directions and location of the church. They have many other ministries available, such as counseling for many different areas of life, small groups, food shelf, kids ministries, homeless shelters and much much more.
Greg was listed as one of the top 20 Christian scholars of all time. His contributions via his speaking and writing are invaluable to Christians. He has a firm grasp on what it means to be in a relationship with God and is a huge blessing. He shares a message of love and mercy that God is showing in how Jesus lived his life on earth.
The first exposure I had to Greg Boyd was when he started a sermon series at Woodland Hills Church, called “Beautiful Life”. The Beautiful Life series was exploring how Jesus intended us to live. In spite of the many horrible things around us, God wants us to share in the beauty that He is. What a refreshing message that there is hope and that God wants good for us and not evil. God isn’t waiting to punish us, but waiting to hear from us and enjoy a daily ongoing, interactive connection.
Other messages about getting rid of all boundaries that we have in our lives – social, racial, economical and other that are simple not what God has for us. It doesn’t matter what country we’re in, what color we are, what gender or anything else – just God’s love.
Greg has authored a number of books, including some of my favorite, Repenting from Religion and Escaping The Matrix.

And we can’t leave without sharing Greg’s drum solo. I never saw or realized that something fun like playing drums could be offered to God and done in a way that can inspire others to be in a relationship with God.
THANK YOU GREG FOR YOUR EXAMPLE!
Oprah Winfrey is certainly an amazing woman. Not only her TV show, but she has collected a huge following of people from all avenues of life. Although mostly women, there are even men that are loyal followers of Oprah. Oprah has her magazine “O” and is launching her own TV network, the Oprah Winfrey Network or OWN. Her initials are OWN and that sure if what she is good at: owning lots.
Being an African American woman must have had it’s challenges and struggles as she grew up and then entered the business world, but she has done what she is good at and what she is challenging others to do, and that is to overcome obstacles, and make the best of what you have. You can be happy with who you are and are not reliant on others to make your life good.
Hanging out with the President of the United States of America is not something that very many people can add to their portfolio of accomplishments, but Oprah can.
Harpo Studios, which is where the Oprah Winfrey Show is produced is another major part of who Oprah is. Upon taking a closer look at name Harpo, you will notice that it is Oprah spelled backwards. Yet another great example of how she can brand everything with her name and OWN it. :)
There are a certain number of people in the world that only need to list their first name and everyone knows exactly who it is. Oprah is naturally in the top list of those people.
If there’s someone to aspire to be these days for women, then Oprah is a natural and superb choice
Oprah really is a stunning person!
Jay Leno on NBC has a great nightly show that features a humorous monologue each night, then a time of some funny sketches and a bunch of celebrity interviews. The show closes with some live performances of hot and trendy music, along with some up and comers. The celebrities include a wide range of actors and actresses, comedians, politicians and other people that have come in the public spotlight.
Jay Leno, who is known for his good timing, his slightly black colored front hair and a protruding chin. Although frequently the content of humor about Jay, he really is a sharp dresser – his suits look stunning and always color coordinated with his new ties.
Even when he’s dressed down in his other standard outfit which is all blue jean, with a blue jean long sleeve shirt and a basic pair of blue jeans.
His amazing guest also include the US president, Barack Obama as shown here in this picture in March of 2010. There are so many other great guests, but of course nothing compares to having a current American president as a guest.
Jay Leno is also well known for his vast car collection and love for all automotive things.
His garage is occasionally featured and it’s rumored that he drives a different car to work each day. No idea on the actual count of cars he owns.
Anyone who loves cars will be envious of Jay’s cars and the diversity of his collection including a steam engine operated car.
